Belgian Butcher Bulls

We are excited to welcome first time competitors, the Belgian Butcher Bulls to the WBC family.

No strangers to competitions, a number of members of the Belgian Butcher Bulls have taken part in national and international charcuterie contests, and achieved some great results. The team consists of butcher couples from six different independent butcheries located in various corners of Belgium, and who all share the same passion and drive surrounding meat and much more!

The team are especially looking forward to meeting the other teams and wider WBC community on the Study Tour to learn about their influences in regards to their craft of processing meat. The team hopes to enrich their knowledge of butchery, and integrate what they learn into their own butcheries back home.

“We think it’s of great importance to represent our country. In this way, we would like to show that we can provide a good and healthy product to our customers, while simultaneously respecting nature and animals. It is also a great opportunity to show off our profession and make it look sexy! Our craft is one which brings a lot of fulfilment: a beautiful product to work with, many variations, and social contact with the consumer, who can enjoy a tasty piece of meat.

All teams are our redoubtable competitors! Our style is very diversified, since the concept of meat is taken rather broadly in Belgium. We like to get creative and make daring combinations!

We are eagerly preparing ourselves with team meetings where we work effectively as well as creative meetings where we brainstorm about our product offer.

We’re very excited to participate!
