One of the World Butchers’ Challenge original competitors, New Zealand’s Hellers Sharp Blacks arrived in Sacramento the weight of past greats on their shoulders and their sights set on The Golden Knife Trophy. With new captain, Riki Kerekere at the helm and the majority of the team fresh to the game, this squad proved that they had more than put in the work ahead of competition day, securing their place on the podium and placing third overall.
