Butchers do ZOOM

There’s one thing that’s certain at the moment and that is, ironically, wherever we are in the world, the feeling of uncertainty is mutual. However, I’d also argue that disruption has been a key word in the vocabulary of those working in the meat industry for a very long time. And whilst COVID-19 is in so many ways unlike anything we’ve faced before, the fact it’s forcing us to do things differently, and rise to challenges we didn’t know we were going to face a few months ago, is something I think we’re all extremely familiar with.

Coronavirus: Update

We understand that the outbreak has caused significant concerns for many of our community in regards to international travel and the status of the 2020 World Butchers’ Challenge, scheduled for September 4 & 5 in Sacramento, California. The situation is a rapidly evolving issue and unfortunately it is not possible to predict what will happen in the coming weeks and months. It is too early to say how long the disruption to international visitation is likely to last and how long the recovery period might be.
